About the Rambler

Welcome to my ramblings on dinner & drink, people & places, our planet’s health & the future of food. I’m a journalist, author and media trainer. My kitchen forever smells of garlic and curry. And much like my mother, I start thinking of dinner long before breakfast….

Back Soon….

We seem to have a crabby nat wreaking havoc with our Internet connection. Give me a day or two and I should be fully online again. Meanwhile, I hope all of you Americans had a fine holiday weekend. Our casual backyard family get-together included burgers, beans, quinoa, tomato salad, chips and dips, and a dessert of mixed berries with creme fraiche and brandy. As on every New Mexican July 4th, a storm blew through, soaked the ground and cleared by dusk. The eggplants loved it. Cheers!
